No. Many clients provide access in advance. Work can be carried out using a spare key, either via a lockbox or another agreed method, which is especially useful for clients arranging frequent visits. For the best results, it’s preferable that the property is unoccupied during the service. All work is carried out with care and attention. • reduce ongoing mental load for clients⸻2. Scope of Work2.1 Agreed ScopeBefore work begins, the scope of service will be agreed in writing. This may include:
• areas of the home covered
• service type (Presentation Maintenance / Reset & Reorder / Organisational Revamp / Property Presentation (Trade) / Lifestyle Support)
• visit frequency or duration
• specific inclusions or exclusionsOnly work within this agreed scope is included.2.2 Changes to ScopeIf a property requires significantly more work than usual, or if additional areas or tasks are requested, this will be discussed and quoted separately. Additional work is never assumed.⸻3. Presentation Maintenance (Retainers)3.1 Retainer StructurePresentation Maintenance is offered on a monthly retainer basis. Retainers:
• reserve dedicated time and availability
• ensure consistent standards
• allow PRETTY NEAT to maintain continuity without disruption3.2 Missed or Cancelled Visits / Rescheduling
• Retainer clients may have sessions rescheduled if necessary, subject to PRETTY NEAT’s availability
• Retainers cover the agreed number of visits per month; clients will not be charged extra for rescheduled sessions within that month
• For one-off or project services, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• Short-notice cancellations (less than 48 hours) may be charged at 50% of the booked session fee
• Missed visits without notice may be charged in full3.3 ExpectationsClients agree to maintain reasonable access to the property and understand that consistent standards rely on regular scheduling.⸻4. One-Off & Project Services4.1 Reset & Reorder / Organisational RevampThese services are finite projects with a clear beginning and end. Scope, objectives, and pricing are agreed before work begins.4.2 Property Presentation (Trade)Trade services may be delivered as one-off preparation or ongoing retainers, depending on client needs and availability.⸻5. Standards & Professional JudgementPRETTY NEAT operates using professional judgement, skill, and discretion. This includes:

• determining the most effective order and methods to achieve the agreed outcome
• maintaining visual order, flow, and presentation
• adapting to unexpected challenges while keeping quality consistentClients agree to trust professional judgement once priorities have been agreed at the start of the session.⸻6. Additional Requests
• PRETTY NEAT does not rush or compromise standards to accommodate tasks beyond the agreed service
• Requests made during a visit may be scheduled for a future session if appropriate⸻7. Visit Structure, Handover & Independent Working7.1 Visit StructureEach visit includes:
• a brief check-in at the start to confirm priorities (if the property is occupied)
• focused, independent working time
• a handover at the end of the session to outline completed work and note any outstanding items7.2 Independent Working & EnvironmentPRETTY NEAT operates under a standards-led, professional model, which requires uninterrupted focus. PRETTY NEAT recommends that visits be scheduled when the property is unoccupied, to allow focused, uninterrupted work.Clients agree to:
• provide an environment that allows PRETTY NEAT to work independently once the session begins
• maintain a professional workspace during visits
• ensure children, pets, and additional occupants are not present in active working areas during the sessionWhere the property is unoccupied:
• pre-visit priorities and end-of-session handovers will be conducted remotely via text, email, or other agreed method
• alternatively, a written summary can be left at the property for the client⸻8. Pricing & Payment8.1 PricingPricing reflects:
• skill and expertise
• responsibility
• consistency
• judgement
• discretion
• outcomePricing is not based solely on time spent.8.2 Payment Terms
• Retainers are paid monthly in advance
• Project services are paid as agreed, before or on the day of service
• Late payments may result in paused services until accounts are up to date⸻9. Access & SafetyClients agree to:
• provide safe and reasonable access to the property
• ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available
• secure pets where necessaryPRETTY NEAT reserves the right to pause or reschedule services if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.⸻10. CommunicationPRETTY NEAT values clear, respectful communication:
• routine communication should take place during normal business hours
• excessive or out-of-hours contact may not receive immediate responses
